Directions to Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River :

From the North Shore :
Take the  Grand Central Parkway to Northern State Parkway east.
Take Northern State Parkway east until you get to Sagtikos Parkway south.
Take Sagtikos Parkway south  to Southern State Parkway east.
Bear LEFT onto Southern State east toward Heckscher State Park.
Take Exit 45E onto Route 27A - Great River/Oakdale.
Take 27A ( Montauk Highway ) for about 1/4 mile.
The Bayard Cutting Arboretum is on the RIGHT just after you get onto Rte 27A.
Park in the lot on the right.

From the South Shore :
Take Southern State Parkway all the way to exit 45E.
Take Exit 45E onto Route 27A - Great River/Oakdale.
Take 27A ( Montauk Highway ) for about 1/4 mile.
The Bayard Cutting Arboretum is on the RIGHT just after you get onto Rte 27A.
Park in the lot on the right.

From the East :
Take Sunrise Highway to the Oakdale split (exit 46). Keep all the way to the right, and go right at Connetquot Avenue South .
Go right again, and again to get onto Connetquot Ave. Take Connetquot to Rte. 27A ( Montauk Highway ).
Go Left on Montauk Highway ; the entrance to the Arboretum is 500' on the RIGHT.
Park in the lot on the right.
